We are based in Crieff in the Central Belt of Scotland, At the present time we have players from Auchterarder, Blackford, Bridge of Earn, Comrie, Crieff, Dunning and Muthill. We also have a Development Band with age ranges from 7 years to Adults.
Rehearsals take place in the music department of Ardvreck School Gywdyr Road,Crieff on a Thursday evening Development Band from 6pm till 7.45pm and the main band from 7pm till 8.30pm
Our Musical Director,Tom Smith Mmus.RCS who is a freelance musician and tutor at various schools in the Perthshire area He would be delighted to welcome you to any of our rehearsals.
The band would love the opportunity to play,either inside or outside. If you are responsible for organising an outdoor summer fete, or in-house carol singing in your hotel during the Christmas season, Brass Central Strathearn can provide what you need. The band is self funding with the help of a few grants having been made available to help purchase music and instruments. Donations would be gratefully received from anyone who wishes to see the band progress.
We are members of the Scottish Brass Band Association and Northern Counties Brass Band Association.
